How To Prepare Chicken Salad

Yesterday was Easter!
Yeah, it was Easter and we did a lot of experimenting with foods we have learn't to prepare over the last holiday.

Chicken salad is a type of salad food.The preparation is the same with other types of vegetable salad, but with little difference and varieties usually prepared in occasions or cocktail parties in Nigeria.

Its a simply and easy to prepare dish so you won't be needing much help.
Here is what we used to prepare ours:
1kg of Chicken                        
1 whole Pineapple                  
 Salad Cream                
1 small size Cabbage          

1. First, you wash and cut the chicken.
2. Add seasoning and cook till soft.
3. Remove all bones and shred or use blender.
4. Get the cabbage, wash neatly and cut into small sizes.
5. Mix the cabbage and the chicken together.
6. Add salad cream about one bottle.
7. Refrigerate.

8. Next, cut the pineapple into two parts.
9.Use your Knife to remove the edible part of both lower and upper parts to some extent into a plate.
10. When this is done, add 1/2 bottle of salad cream to the edible part of pineapple and mix.
11. Put both the pineapple into refrigerator to chill.
12. After about 3 to 4hours remove from fridge and mix the chicken and pineapple together. You can also get the pineapple shell, place the mixture which is the salad into the lower part of the shell and cover with the upper part.

13. Add food color to highlight the salad if you want.
Then place on a tray and serve.

(Water melon could be used too, just remove the edible parts and seed then use the pineapple method above).
