How To Prepare Homemade Crunchy Cookies

Need a snack to munch while typing on your computer, pinging with friends, chatting on a cozy family night, studying for that jaw-breaking examination or just for fun? Here is the perfect snack for that moment. It's crunchy, munchy, delicious cookies! Easy to make and can be ready under 15 minutes!

Here are the ingredients you need:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoonful vanilla flavour
  • 125g margarine
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoonful baking powder
  • salt to taste
  • chocolate or any other filling (optional)
Method of preparation:
  • Measure out the flour, salt, preservative (if powder), flavour (if powder), baking powder into a mixing bowl, sift and mix together.
  • In another mixing bowl, measure out the sugar and butter. Mix in one direction using a turning stick until fluffy in texture and whitish in colour.
  • Break the eggs into another bowl (one at a time) and beat well.
  • Transfer egg into the butter-sugar mixture and mix well. Add flavour and preservative at this stage if liquid and mix.
  • Add the sifted flour (little at a time) and mix until the flour is completely incorporated. Do not mix vigorously.
  • Cut into desired shapes on a greased baking tray/pan using a cookie cutter (you could also scoop it onto the tray using a spoon if u wish or in the absence of a cookie cutter). 
  • Place the chocolates or similar fillings on the cookies like the picture below. Note that you can add it before putting it into the oven or after its done.
  • Bake for about 15-30 minutes depending on the thickness of the cookie to be baked.
  • Bring it out when it's done.
Serve with any drink of your choice or simply munch away as you watch your movie. Trust me, if you do it right you must love it. Plus, you can sell it locally and have a little source of income!
