How To Prepare Chocolate Cake

Hello foodies! New recipe for you! For chocolate lovers, it's a double treat for you!

It's a simple chocolate cake recipe. Trust me; I'd get baking right now if I were you! You would love that chocolate taste! It's quite yummy and you can actually swallow it all in a minute and still crave more! Making your own chocolate cake is super awesome plus its very easy to prepare.
So, let's get baking!

2 1/2 cups of flour
2 cups of sugar
A pinch of salt
1 tablespoonful of baking powder
7 tablespoonful of cocoa powder
10 tablespoonful of vegetable oil
2 cups of warm water
3 large sized eggs
 Flavor and preservative

- Measure out all the dry ingredients - flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, cocoa powder, preservative (if powder form) and mix.

- In another mixing bowl, mix the liquid ingredients - egg, vegetable oil, water, flavor and preservative (if liquid preservative is been used)

- Pour in the flour mixture (a little at a time) and mix until smooth

- Transfer the batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 30-45 minutes

- After baking, leave to cool before transferring onto a cake board.

- You can melt a little chocolate and pour on top evenly, decorate with icing or simply eat like that.

- Serve with any drink of your choice.

Ooops, hope I didn't disappoint you by not adding chocolate to the recipe? You know that cocoa powder can work magic and give you that chocolate taste!
But if you insist you want to use chocolate, just buy a bar (choose a size you desire) of chocolate, melt in the oven or over any heat source and pour it in with the liquid ingredients step two). Add a little cocoa powder if you want to.
Note that the size of chocolate you use will determine the quantity of sugar you will need (if any). So you don't end up with a sugary-chocolate cake!
I want to hear about your experiences in the comment box below!

  6. Well Julie, chocolate flavors are more appropriate.. But some people prefer to use other flavours..

So, picking a flavor depends on the individual's taste/choice.

  7. Looks yummy dear!!
